Privacy Policy

Who this applies to

Shouthearts accounts are created and controlled by a parent or legal guardian ("you"). Children never create their own account, never log in independently, and are not themselves users we collect information directly from — see "Children's information" below for exactly what we collect about a child and why.

What we collect

About you (the parent): your email address, password (stored as a secure hash, never in plain text by us or by Supabase, our authentication provider), and — if you subscribe — a reference ID linking your account to Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your card number.

About your child:a nickname of your choosing (not their legal name), an age range (not an exact birthdate), and an avatar color. That's it. We deliberately do not collect your child's email, phone number, photo, exact birthdate, or legal name.

Usage data: which activities a child profile has completed or unlocked, so progress can be shown to you. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers as of this writing.

Children's information

Shouthearts is designed for parents to use with their children, not for children to use independently. When you add a child profile, you confirm you are that child's parent or legal guardian and consent to their minimal information (nickname, age range, avatar color) being stored under your account. We record the time and policy version of that confirmation. We collect no information directly from children themselves.

Who we share it with

We share data only with the service providers that make the app work: Supabase (database and authentication hosting) and Stripe(payment processing, for subscribers and single-activity purchases only). We do not sell your data or your child's data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Your rights

You can delete a child's profile, or your entire account and all associated data, at any time by contacting us. Account deletion removes your profile, your children's profiles, and their activity-completion history from our database.

Cookies

We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. We don't use tracking or advertising cookies.
